A passage I read mentioned watching the shadows move across the Moon, which inspired me to appreciate that moment for myself. While watching shadows, I sketch. Each sketch is done completely at the eyepiece, with no post-observation enhancements. Each is completed in about 45 minutes, due to the relentless progression of nature's shadows.
